Specialty Doctor in Old Age Psychiatry
Mentus Recruitment are seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor in Old Age Psychiatry to work in a NHS based service in the Hampshire area. This is an exciting role is to work across the CMHT and the memory assessment service. This is a long term role for a locum Specialty Doctor to cover a vacant post.
This is a full time role and duties include: initial assessments and follow up of patients, review of patients in the memory assessment service, risk assessment and timely documentation into records.

Job Description:
- The Specialty Doctor will work across the community mental health team and the memory assessment service.
- You will provide assessments to new referrals and review existing case load
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- Undertake appropriate investigations, diagnosis & treatment
- Participate in team meetings
- Complete all reports and paperwork in a professional way and within efficient time frames.
Qualifications and Experience
- MBBS qualification, or equivalent
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Section 12 approval is required
- Experience as a specialty doctor in Old Age Psychiatry
- A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess & treat patients & write clear, comprehensive medical notes
