Mentus Recruitment and proud to be working with a private healthcare provider in Surrey to offer the role of Locum Consultant in CAMHS Psychiatry
We are working in partnership with our esteemed client who are leading specialist in CAMHS inpatient services.
The role of Locum Consultant in CAMHS psychiatry is based in a tier 4, CAMHS Eating Disorder Ward for 13- 18 year olds. You will deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support the children and young people, and their families, as they progress through their care plans to understand eating behaviours and restore physical health.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Offering leadership and guidance as well as being Responsible Clinician for patients
- Leading the MDT team and liaising with external professionals and ensure quality standards for all patients
- Delivering high quality care to patients and families
- Providing care to all patients on the ward with the support of a specialty doctor and team of physical health specialists
- Conduct risk assessments and review regularly
- Allocate specialist psychological treatments in line with individual needs
- Assess physical health
- Ensuring effective liaison with referring teams
- Facilitating regular CPA review meeting

Qualifications and Experience:
- Full registration with GMC and appropriate medical degree
- Experience in CAMHS and Eating Disorders
- Must hold Section 12 and AC status
- CCT or CESR Specialist registration in CAMHS Psychiatry
