      Mentus Recruitment are seeking a Compliance Officer with experience in healthcare recruitment to work on a fixed term contract for a project based opportunity. This is a part time role which allows for remote working.

      Due to the growth of our business we a seeking a expert professional who has a deep understanding of NHS framework standards of compliance and the processes that recruitment agencies in the healthcare sector have to adhere to.
      Mentus recruitment was founded with the purpose of providing an expert recruitment solution for our clients and candidates to assist in the delivery of much needed mental health care services for patients throughout the UK.
      As an experienced Compliance Officer in healthcare recruitment, you will have gained experience in the challenges of implementing, maintaining and upholding high standards of compliance. We are looking for a freelance professional to partner with us to ensure we are exceeding the expected standards in this area of the business.
      Key Performance Areas: 
      • Creating and maintaining candidate compliance files for a range of healthcare professionals.
      • Intrinsic knowledge of the NHS Framework standards of compliance and the standards of quality expected.
      • Implementing business processes to ensure compliance of all temporary workers
      • Configuration of database and CRM to manage and track documentation.
      • Conducting compliance audits and making recommendations for quality improvement strategies.
      • Assessing, Checking and signing off candidates’ files, in line with government and NHS Standards.
      • Acting as first point of contact for compliance queries
      • Assessing compliance files of healthcare professionals to meet Framework approved standards understand the level, significance and scope of risk.
      • To develop and maintain KPIs in line with business objectives and thrive for continuous improvement
      • General administration duties including email, filing and scanning
      • Completing and verifying background checks e.g. references, qualifications, criminal records etc.

      Key Experience: 

      • Experience in compliance management for healthcare recruitment agencies- Essential
      • Proven track record in assessing, auditing and quality improvement- Essential
      • Experience in implementation of ISO 9001- Desirable
      • Ability to take ownership of a project and work independently – Essential
      • Data Protection and ICO regulations
      • Excellent rates of Pay
